Fishery Rules

Foremark Fishery Rules – 30 May 2020

COVID Version – Please Observe Social Distancing (15m when fishing, 2m elsewhere).

Please move more than 15m after one hour of fishing, as fish maybe bunched, to give everyone a fair chance.

Rod numbers may be limited dependent on conditions. Bank fishing only.

Please travel to the fishery by yourself unless you are travelling with a family member & you live at the same address (COVID-19 Rules).

Thank you for choosing to fish with us, please read the rules below. Note these may change as the COVID situation changes.

The current version will always be posted here.

Our mission is to keep this fishery open for fishing. We are only intending covering costs of running this site and any surplus will be invested in more fish. We also plan to allow pike fishing so please ask and we may permit anglers known to the fishery to coarse fish in specified places.

Use nitrile gloves to open and close the access gate. The lock to be left looped around the gate. We will disinfect the gate start of day.
2m social distance to be observed around the lodge, one person at a time.
Please sanitise your hands on entry to the lodge.
Permit costs are (exact ‘paper’ money only while we organise contactless):
£25 for 3 fish, C&R to 12,
£20 for 2 fish, C&R to 12
£15 for 1 fish, C&R to 10 (six hour ticket).
Spinning permitted but no C&R. This in specified areas only.
Fishery opens at 0800, fishing 0830-1800 for now. Maybe varied for pre-booked groups.
Maximum hook size is 25mm, fly (3 maximum) or spinner length 40mm barbless only.
Rubberised landing nets preferred. Please unhook fish to be returned in the water.
Fishing from the pontoon is permitted for two, one each end, (you must use your own life jacket for now).
Catch returns to be reported to fishery staff on completion for entry in the book by fishery staff and booking off site.
The disabled toilet will be opened on request, sanitise on the way in and way out.
